Another completed project
Acting on behalf of Lincolnshire Co-operative Limited Funeral Services, Banks Long and Co's Building Surveyors have recently completed the refurbishment of a Grade II* Listed Building to create a prestigious Funeral Home.
The former office premises, which fell into disrepair, were carefully restored using historic building materials and methods. Sympathetic alterations to the later addition were made to the building to house the funeral vehicles. To allow mourners to grieve for their loved ones, a small Chapel of Rest was created and this was blessed by local Clergy during the official opening ceremony, which was attended by local dignitaries and people involved in the project. The Funeral Home is located on the corner of South Square and John Adams Way and brightens up the area with its crisp white façade.
