Gymnastics boost for Lincoln
Husband and wife team have secured new premises for expansion of Witham Hill Gymnastics Club.
Husband and wife team Jamie and Alisa Saunders have secured new premises for expansion of Witham Hill Gymnastics Club.
Until recently based at Yarborough Leisure Centre, the club has seen a dramatic increase in demand for places and has therefore taken the big step of acquiring their own premises which comprise a 5,000 sq ft industrial unit off Outer Circle Road in Lincoln.
Alisa Saunders comments “Since establishing the club in 2007, we are very pleased with the progress made both as a club and in terms of the achievements of individual members. The relocation to such large premises will allow the club to establish itself as a trophy winning club that will compliment Lincoln Gymnastics Club..
We are looking forward to the 2012 Olympics and are already experiencing an increase in interest in the sport as the games approach.”
The deal was structured by Banks Long & Co Surveyors of Lincoln who act on behalf of a local private investor landlord, Eleanor Gadsby comments, “The gymnastics use required Planning Permission and the Local Planning Authority obviously agreed with our clients that the club is a great benefit to the local community and were happy to recommend it for approval. We wish Witham Hill Gymnastics the best of luck over the coming years.”
