New Fish and Chip Shop venture for Caistor

The redevelopment of the former Talbot Inn and late Roman Cemetery site is proving to be a great success for the town since the opening of the new Lincolnshire Co-operative foodstore in December 2010.

Since the new store opening, the adjacent unit has been let to Dean Hanson, owner of Hanson’s Fish and Chips.

This is an exciting new venture for Mr Hanson who hopes to capitalise on the pull of the new Co-op store since it was relocated from the Market Place.  The new store is twice the size of the former store and Mr Hanson expects this to increase footfall in the town.  Matthew Brooks at Banks Long & Co acted on behalf of the Lincolnshire Co-op in the letting to Mr Hanson says:

“We feel that the new Lincolnshire Co-op foodstore and much anticipated opening of the fish and chip shop has breathed new life into the Town and are confident that a new tenant will be found for the remaining unit on-site”.

Mr Hanson has started to fit out the unit and is expecting to open for business in March.
