New ladies gym concept arrives at The Carlton Centre
Acting on behalf of Lincoln Corn Exchange (a subsidiary of Lincolnshire Co-operative Limited), Banks Long and Co have secured the letting of upper floor premises at The Carlton Centre to ladies gym concept Curves.
Local Businesswoman Robyn Davis has set up the franchise and is enthusiastic about the new venture. ‘Curves is a fitness facility specially designed for women, which offers a 30 minute workout and revolutionary weight loss programme which is fun fast and safe.’
‘As a whole the Curves operation has been ranked number 1 fitness franchise by Entrepreneur magazine four years in a row and is the largest of it’s kind in the world, with over 10,000 gyms.’
‘The Carlton Centre is an excellent location for the gym, with its neighbouring housing development and variety of complimentary retail and community serving facilities.’
Eleanor Gadsby of Banks Long & Co adds, ‘The Carlton Centre is the biggest shopping and commercial development to the north of the city. Over 10,000 people live within a reasonable walking distance. The gym will further improve the offer at the Carlton Centre with other neighbouring operators including a hairdressers, a tanning studio, a café and a convenience store’.
‘We now only have a couple of suites available to let as offices, retail, health or medical premises in the existing phase and we hope to be reporting positive news on these shortly.’
