It proved to be an interesting and useful insight into city centre regeneration schemes especially bearing in mind the firms involvement in Lincolns’ own new shopping centre development, Lindongate.
Members of PAI toured the newly opened 1.4 million sq.ft. retail led mixed use Liverpool One scheme earlier this month, which is breathing new life into the Centre of Liverpool. Peter Banks and James Butcher represented Banks Long & Co on the visit to the scheme which has been developed by Grosvenor over some 42 acres of the city centre. 20 different Architects were employed to give the 6 districts within the scheme their own distinct character. The scheme is anchored by a John Lewis and Debenhams department stores and as with the majority of modern shopping centre schemes the retail offer is dominated by the mainstream and designer fashion brands.

Developers Modus are expected to submit a planning application later this year and Banks Long & co have been appointed as joint letting agents with Lunson Michenall.
