Running Imp Expand
In a deal structured by Banks Long & Co Surveyors, Running Imp have purchased Centenary House on Whisby Way in Lincoln.
The successful Lincoln-based business, winner of the Customer Care Award at the Lincolnshire Echo Business Awards, will relocate to their new home over the course of the next few months.
The move to a new building marks a new chapter in the company’s history – with Centenary House over double the size of their existing premises at Millennium House, situated off Greetwell Road to the north of Lincoln.
Commenting on the deal William Wall of Banks Long adds, “This was a more involved deal than normal as following the expression of interest from Running Imp, we had to effect a surrender of the existing lease of the premises, relocate the tenants to an alternative office building nearby with a simultaneous sale of Centenary House to Running Imp. We are pleased that we have been able to finally conclude the matter in a deal that has been to the benefit of all parties involved.”
Running Imp co-founder and Managing Director Caroline Birkin concludes, “Our business has been expanding rapidly in recent years with growth in all of our key market sectors. The move to larger premises at Centenary House unlocks further potential in Running Imp’s ability to continue growing and competing in an increasingly international marketplace.”
Millennium House at Greetwell Place comprises approximately 6,531 sq ft of high quality modern office and warehouse accommodation. The building will become vacant in mid to late summer 2011, with Banks Long & Co Surveyors instructed to market the building on behalf of the owners.
