Sytner Expansion in Nottingham
Global car sales brand Sytner has expanded their operation in Nottingham with the acquisition of the former Jackson Building Centres complex on Lenton Lane.
In a deal structured by Banks Long & Co acting on behalf of the previous owners, Grafton Merchanting GB Ltd and NG Surveyors acting on behalf of Sytner Group, the motor trader has purchased the 3 acre site for an undisclosed sum.
Grafton Merchanting GB Ltd have simultaneously taken a new leaseback of the kitchen/bathroom showroom and trade counter building operating them as their Reflections and Plumbase brands. The remaining buildings and site will be occupied by Sytner for their body shop operation.
William Wall of Banks Long & Co comments “We are pleased to have secured a mutually beneficial off-market disposal that secures an important capital receipt for our clients as well as allowing them to retain occupation in this highly sought after prominent position.”
Ray Valenti of NG Surveyors adds “As soon as we were made aware of the availability of this site it was clear that it ideally suited our clients, Sytner who operate the neighbouring BMW facility as well as Graypaul Ferrari further down Lenton Lane and the Audi dealership on the opposite side of the A52. We are pleased that we have been able to conclude a deal that is mutually beneficial to the parties concerned.”
